Birmingham, Alabama

 On September 15th 1963 a bomb exploded during Sunday morning services in Birmingham, Alabama, killing four girls. Fifteen sticks of dynamite were planted in the churches basement and it turned out to be under the girls restroom. This was the third attack after the American government tried to integrate Alabama's school system. At the funeral of the three girls Martin Luther King Jr addressed to more than 8000 mourners, which I assume we'll be reading about in class.

Violence

There are two ways that violence could be necessary. For moral reasons you could say that its in the benefit of a whole society. But another reason why violence could be necessary is for self defense. If someone would to attack you with a knife, would you not defend yourself?
